The WIT (Wine in Tube) is a glass tube with différent holding capacities: 4, 5, 6 or 10 cl, closed by a screw cap. This type of conditioning is without incidence for the evolution of the wine.
WIT permits to touch professionals and individual clients, giving them the chance to discover the wines, to increase the prestige and to optimise sales. Wit also permits easier sampling during wine tasting.
Wine is a very fragile product which needs a high level of vigilance and important protection during conditioning and ageing phases.
During these two phases the oxygen deteriorates very quickly.
Thus being the reason that the wine is transfered to the WIT tubes under vacuum conditions.
Controls of the protective properties are also undertaken, followed by a sensorial detection which guarantees the absence of corked taste or any other type of deterioration. These different stages permit the preservation of the wine structure and the evolution of the aromas during 6 months to 1 year.
